The daytime experience at Synder’s Family Farm alone is worth the trip, with more than 25 attractions spread across the property. Visitors can explore a five-acre corn maze, pick pumpkins from a 16-acre patch, hop aboard a Western-style hayride, and enjoy jumping pillows, giant slides, and other family-friendly activities.
There’s also an on-site bakery serving fresh treats that keeps visitors coming back year after year. Families with young children can easily spend an entire afternoon here without ever venturing into the farm’s nighttime attractions.
Once night falls, the farm undergoes a dramatic transformation. Fear Farm takes over the property with seven haunted attractions, led by its famous hayride, where horses pull guests through dark cornfields and forest trails filled with frights.
The Experience
Other attractions include Hiller House, a one-way maze ruled by a sinister doctor; Hillbilly Hike, a haunted trail through swampy woods; and The Stalking Dead, a pitch-black corn maze designed to leave visitors disoriented. The experience also features six food venues, licensed patio bars, and live entertainment throughout the night.
Fear Farm is recommended for ages 16 and up, with guests under 18 required to attend with an adult. Visitors planning to experience everything Fear Farm has to offer should arrive at the entry time listed on their ticket. Since most attractions take place outdoors on uneven terrain, dressing for the weather and wearing appropriate footwear is recommended.
