Last spring, Cinespace Studios (8 Unwin Avenue, Toronto, M5A 3L1) became a portal to an immersive Stranger Things mini-verse, filled with epic audiovisual sets, supernatural mysteries and pulse-racing encounters that will bring the cult TV sensation to life. But with all good things, Stranger Things: The Experience is now saying goodbye on August 20.
An ominous world looms beneath the surface of the quiet town and Hawkins needs your help to save it. Once you step into the supernatural universe of Stranger Things you’ll be sucked into an hour-long adventure, riddled with secrets, challenges and obstacles that will unlock your special powers.
And after you go saving the world from evil forces, there are sundaes to be devoured at Scoops Ahoy, pizzas to indulge in at Surfer Boy’s and cocktails to delight in at ‘The Upside’. Just make sure you’re paying attention: Vecna is waiting for any opportunity to attack.
Luckily, El and the gang will be weaving through the scenes (armed with walkie-talkies, headbands and flashlights) to help you navigate riveting, new interactive narratives developed with the show creators.
