A hit reality television franchise will soon be bringing some top-tier drama right to Ontario’s cottage country.
For the past several years, the hit Bravo series Summer House has been a beloved obsession for reality TV junkies, and now, the fan-favourite show is officially heading north of the border for its first-ever international spin-off.

Production is currently underway on Summer House Canada, which will swap the posh beaches of the Hamptons for the rugged but breathtaking shorelines of Ontario’s scenic Muskoka region – also known as the Hamptons of the north. Spanning 10 episodes, the brand-new iteration will feature a group of city-dwelling friends escaping the concrete jungle on weekends to share a luxurious waterfront cottage.
A specially assembled Canadian cast will live under one roof, ready to give viewers a front-row seat to the chaotic relationships, career clashes, and unforgettable weekend parties that unfold at the lake.
The upcoming series is being brought to life by Vancouver-based Lark Productions, the same team behindThe Real Housewives of Toronto. While the exact cast lineup is still being kept strictly under wraps for the next few months, the show’s mission remains exactly the same: delivering premium, unfiltered entertainment that captures the ups and downs of spending a summer together.
Summer House Canada will stream exclusively on Hayu, with the highly anticipated premiere scheduled to launch sometime in 2027. You can find more updates on the franchise’s upcoming expansion and casting calls on the Hayu website and social channels.
Besides keeping an eye out for the show on your screens, you can also try to catch a glimpse of the cameras filming live this summer if you happen to be spending a weekend on the water in nearby cottage hubs like Lake Rosseau, Gravenhurst, or Huntsville.
