A beloved viral food festival is expanding to Mississauga for the first time ever this weekend, bringing a weekend of tacos and tequila right to the waterfront.
After nine straight years of sold-out crowds in Toronto, Taco Fest is officially heading west to make its highly anticipated Mississauga debut. Port Credit Memorial Park will be completely transformed into a fiesta of Mexican culture, flavor, and culinary creativity.
The lakeside park will be turned into a sprawling foodie paradise, featuring over 20 of the most celebrated chefs and vendors from across the GTA. Hungry attendees can expect to feast on over 125 unique taco varieties, ranging from deeply authentic, traditional Mexican recipes to innovative new takes on the classics.
The star-studded vendor lineup features heavy-hitters like Toronto’s Kong’s Hot Tacos, the reigning champion who took home the crown for Best Taco at a previous Toronto festival, along side local Mississauga icons like Rick’s Good Eats, who will be serving up their famous Indian-fusion creations. Best of all, guests will have the chance to cast their own ballots to crown the winner of the first-ever Taco Fest Mississauga Best Taco.
Beyond the incredible food options, the two-day event doubles as a lively cultural party. Guests can explore a hot sauce bar featuring over 50 fiery varieties from around the globe, master their skills at a dedicated guacamole school, or indulge in custom-crafted cocktails at a dedicated tequila and mezcal tasting bar. The electric atmosphere will be fueled by non-stop live entertainment, including traditional mariachi bands, interactive salsa dancing, and live musical performers from day until night.

Taco Fest Mississauga will take over Port Credit Memorial Park (40 Lakeshore Rd. E.) this weekend, kicking off on Saturday, June 27 from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and continuing through Sunday, June 28 from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $18.95 for adults, while special family entry blocks are available for kids.
As for Toronto, Taco Fest will take over Fort York later this summer on August 7 through 9, 2026.
