For those of us just not ready to say goodbye to summer, this enchanting flower festival is the perfect way to cap off the season.
Starting tomorrow, August 23, TASC Flower Pick Farm found in Niagara-on-the-Lake is hosting its first ever end-of-summer Flower Festival, offering visitors the chance to stroll through millions of late summer blooms, snap photos, and even pick-your-own bouquets.
Famous for their epic tulip fields of 3 million flowers each spring that will transport you to Holland, their fall flower pick farm will open to guests from mid August through September.
With endless rows of vibrant sunflowers, zinnias, and gladiolus, the farm looks straight out of a water colour painting this time of year, perfect for a solo visit, date, or outing with friends and family – making for a calm escape from the city’s daily hustle and bustle.
Bring your camera, as the festival has no shortage of photo-worthy set-ups. These include an antique car, giant swing, benches, and even a kissing booth. If you want to elevate your photos, you can also book a golden hour session to capture the sun setting over the blooms on select evenings.
TASC is open daily from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday through Sunday located at 1173 Line 3 Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake. General admission starts from $17.50 if you purchase online in advance, or $22.50 at the gate. The entrance fee also includes 10 flowers you can pick to take home!
Grab yours now on their website to reserve your date, as weekend time slots are sure to get busy!
