One of the most popular reality TV dating and relationship shows has begun casting for its next season, and you could find yourself in the spotlight!
ABC’s The Bachelor is now looking for contestants, including Canadians who believe they have what it takes to steal hearts on screen.
The long-running dating show, which follows one eligible single as they date a group of romantic hopefuls, has aired 29 seasons and spawned several successful spinoffs.
Casting is currently open for The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, The Golden Bachelor, and The Golden Bachelorette, and the application process is actually quite straightforward!
To apply, all you have to do is visit the official Bachelor Nation casting website and complete the online questionnaire.
There are some eligibility requirements you must meet to be considered, including being at least 21 years old at the time of application, be a legal resident of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec), have a valid passport, and be single, of course.
The application requires detailed personal information, including your full name, age, contact details, height, weight, marital status, occupation, and whether you have children. You’ll also need to submit recent photos, including a full-body image, and provide links to your social media profiles.
The form then dives deep into your relationship history, views on love, dating, and marriage, as well as your personality traits, hobbies, and defining life experiences. Applicants must explain what makes them a great romantic partner, how friends and family describe them, and why they want to join the show.
The application also includes fun prompts like, including who your celebrity crush is, what your limo entrance would look like, or what something surprising about your life is.
