Best of all, it’s completely free to attend! The festival is taking place at Nathan Phillips Square Saturday, August 5th from 3pm to midnight.
3. NEIGHBORHOODING – Caribana Edition
This anticipated party kicks off at Lavalle Rooftop at 3pm on Saturday, August 5th with sets by Djs like Jenno, Nino Brown, and Ganbei. As part of Caribana weekend, you can party at Lavelle until 6pm. Tickets start at $27.96.
4. Afrobana
Another year of Afrobana has arrived this Saturday, August 5th at the Axis Club Theatre. The tickets are known to sell out, so check out the website for tickest! The party has a great lineup of DJs and runs from 10:30 to 3am.

GhanaFest will be celebrating their 11th annual Ghanaian Festival of Arts & Culture on Sunday, August 6th in Earl Bales Park in North York. Feast on traditional Ghanian foods, language lessons, games, and more as you celebrate Black Canadian culture. The event is free to attend and is from 12-8pm.
