April showers have brought May flowers, and they’re blooming just in time for Mother’s Day!
The Toronto Flower Market, which launched in the city back in May 2013, returns for its eleventh year on May 11, the day before Mother’s Day on the 12th.
As the city’s first outdoor flower market, you’ll find all sorts of Ontario-grown flowers and plants, from handcrafted bouquets to individual stems.
You’ll also get to meet a bunch of local flower growers, florists, designers, and producers who will be vending at the market.
Besides flowers and associated accessories, you can also find handmade gifts, soaps, books, and ceramics if you’re looking to add on to your gift for mom.
Hosting monthly events throughout the summer, the Toronto Flower Market will also host Market Saturdays on June 15, July 13, August 17, September 14, and October 12 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at CAMH.
The event will go on rain or shine at 1001 Queen St West at the southwest corner of Queen and Shaw. It’s free to attend.
