A deliciously fragrant street festival is returning to Toronto this fall, bringing all things garlic right to the historic Allan Gardens.
The Toronto Garlic Festival is back on September 27, inviting guests to a day filled with local vendors, Ontario farmers, and creative chefs who will gather to celebrate the wonderfully aromatic bulb.
From rare heirloom garlic varieties to mouth-watering garlic-infused dishes, attendees will get to try a lineup of unique culinary creations crafted by top local chefs, pairing garlic with everything from savoury street foods to surprisingly sweet desserts.
Whether you’re hunting for a stash of fresh Ontario-grown garlic to take home or curious enough to try garlic-infused ice cream, this celebration is one-of-a-kind. Alongside the delicious bites, attendees can check out garlic-themed crafts, dive into intriguing Culture Talks, or test their luck in the Garlic Breath Contest and Vampire Costume Contest throughout the day.
The festival is also completely free to attend, making it a budget-friendly way to kick off the new season with family and friends. The 15th Annual Toronto Garlic Festival will take place at Allan Gardens on Sunday, September 27, 2026, running from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
