A lively ten-day celebration of music and culture is officially returning to the city this weekend.
TD Toronto Jazz Festival is officially back for its 39th year, running from June 19 through 28, 2026 across the Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood.
Spanning across ten days, the festival will feature mix of free outdoor programming alongside ticketed indoor concerts at iconic venues across the city. Not to be missed is the bustling OLG Village alongside newly expanded Sidewalk Sessions that turn standard city streets into impromptu live performance stages.
The opening weekend kicks off on June 19 with a number of performances designed for music fans of all ages. This year’s festival theme Boundless, Fearless Sound promises an eclectic lineup that moves well beyond traditional jazz standards.
Opening weekend crowds can look forward to free, outdoor sets by dynamic local favorites like Trash Panda Brass and steel pan virtuoso Gareth Burgess right in the heart of Yorkville.
The outdoor street-side performances are completely free to attend, making it easy to hop between different pop-up locations during an evening stroll through the neighbourhood. However, if you are looking to take the experience indoors, ticketed marquee shows will be happening simultaneously at legendary spots like The Rex Hotel, featuring opening night sets by New Orleans brass icons The Soul Rebels and the intimate Jazz Bistro.
