Toronto finally got its first significant snowfall of the season over the weekend, but the city may be in for a second dose as a winter storm is expected to slam into the area as early as Tuesday of this week.
While The Weather Network is reporting that Toronto and the GTA could see between 2-8cm of snow initially on Tuesday, a Texas low system could bring anywhere from 10-15 cm late that evening into Wednesday morning.
Even higher amounts may accumulate in areas north of the city, accompanied with freezing rain which may result in a messy commute for Wednesday.
Communities farther out from Toronto like North Bay and Sudbury could receive up to 25 cm of snow, so plan accordingly if you have plans to drive north!
While the delayed snowfall may be a headache for those trying to get to their destinations on Wednesday, ski resorts in Ontario are welcoming the precipitation with open arms after a dismal start to the winter.
