After a week of mild fall temperatures, we almost forgot it was mid-November in the city.
Sadly, Toronto is in for a snap back to reality, as temperatures are expected to plunge over the course of the weekend.
The Weather Network just released a new report showing a frigid Arctic air cold front will blast through not only Toronto, but the entire country in the coming days.
Between 5 to 10 mm of rain is anticipated to fall across southern Ontario as early as Friday morning, ending by the late afternoon.
Despite daytime highs of 12 degrees C on Friday, it could feel as low as -9 degrees C by Wednesday evening.
As for our first heavy snowfall of the season, The Weather Network predicts it could happen any day now.
However, it’s too soon to dig out those skis and snowboards just yet, warmer weather is forecasted to return around the end of November continuing into early December.
