Did you know that you can experience the magic of the African savanna without ever leaving Toronto?
That’s exactly what the Toronto Zoo’s Serengeti Bush Camp offers, inviting guests to spend the night camping out under the stars surrounded by wildlife.
Back for the summer, the experience offers an unforgettable overnight wildlife adventure, immersed in the sights and sounds of the Zoo’s African Savanna and Rainforest Pavilion. It includes exclusive after-hours access, exciting wildlife encounters, and authentic African bush tents for sleeping complete with cots.
Guests will be treated to a buffet-style dinner and breakfast, a Zoomobile ride, and admission to the Zoo during your stay, as well as a fully guided program featuring behind-the-scenes access, interactive walking tours, and special evening adventures. After dark, they’ll get to roast marshmallows over a campfire and exchange stories while taking in the night sky.
Bush Camp is available from the May long weekend to Labour Day, with select specialty nights designed for different age groups. This includes family nights with children 6 and older, family nights with young children ages 2-5, and select adult-only nights in July and August.
Prices start at $84.07 per person for youth and school groups, and from $114.16 per person for families and specialty nights. You can find out more and register here on their website.
