With summer just weeks away, now’s the perfect time to take advantage of all the free outdoor events and activities to do in Toronto this season!
For all the seasoned yogis or those interested in trying it for the first time, Trillium Park is hosting yoga classes taught by a certified instructor on select Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer – and they’re completely free!
Running until September 29, the hour-long classes are a mix of hatha and vinyasa yoga styles, focusing on “mindfulness, strengthening the core, and cultivating connection between the breath and body” according to the Ontario Place website.
Trillium Park’s location right on Lake Ontario provides the perfect peaceful setting to really get into your zen space.
Classes will go on rain or shine, and no registration is required – just bring a mat, water, and sun protection, and show up!
Besides yoga, there will also be other free events and entertainment going on at Trillium Park this summer.
