Floating lanterns, delicious street food, live music, and late-night energy is bringing a taste of Asia back to Toronto’s waterfront this weekend.
The Toronto Waterfront Night Market returns to Hotel X Toronto at Exhibition Place from August 14 to 16, transforming the grounds into a sprawling outdoor celebration complete with food vendors, glowing installations, entertainment, and plenty of Instagram-worthy sights.

At the heart of the festivities is the Signature Pan-Asian Food Festival, where visitors can dig into an impressive lineup of street food inspired by flavours from across Asia. Expect everything from sizzling grilled skewers and savoury bites to more adventurous favourites like stinky tofu.
The 2026 edition will also celebrate the Qixi “Double 7” Festival, a traditional Chinese celebration often compared to Valentine’s Day. Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy interactive experiences, live music, cultural programming, and the festival’s signature Illuminasian Floating Lantern experience.

The night market will take on a 19+ atmosphere on Friday and Saturday, making for a fun adults-only evening by the lake. Sunday will switch gears for a special Family Day, welcoming festival-goers of all ages.
Tickets start at $14.95 and range up to $28.95+, giving attendees access to the food, entertainment, attractions, and dazzling waterfront atmosphere.
The Toronto Waterfront Night Market takes place at Hotel X Toronto, located at 115 Princes’ Blvd., from August 14 to 16, 2026. Tickets and the full festival lineup are available through the event’s official website.
