If you haven’t heard yet, sober raves are the hottest new trend – and one of the most popular iterations is about to take over Toronto’s most recognizable landmark.
The Daybreaker sober rave series, which first went viral in New York City, is bringing its Have Fun, Be Nice Tour to the iconic CN Tower tomorrow morning on August 13, 2025.
The event has become a global movement combining dance, music, and wellness, on a mission to create unforgettable mornings without alcohol. Social media users might have seen their legendary events in jaw-dropping locations like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and even the Pyramids of Giza. Now, they’re making Toronto their next stop on a 100-event tour across 20 cities, anticipating roughly 200 guests to show up.
The Toronto edition, dubbed Sunrise in the Sky, will be the city’s biggest Daybreaker event yet. Running from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., it will take place 1,815 feet up inside the CN Tower on the Observatory Deck.
Guests will start the morning with yoga or breathwork before diving into an all-out dance party with DJ DCR MILDA spinning high-energy house, R&B + hip-hop remixes, live musicians, dancers, and surprise performers.
Instead of cocktails, the bar will be serving free matcha and coffee shots, fueling the energy without the hangover. Since it’s alcohol-free, this is an all-ages event and kids under 12 get in free, making it one of the few Toronto raves that’s truly family-friendly.
Last call tickets are still available online, priced at $125. Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes suitable for yoga and dancing, and keep in mind that there aren’t showers available on site for those heading to work after.
If you’ve ever wanted to start your day with an unforgettable dance party at one of the most famous landmarks in the world, this is your chance! It’s sure to be one of the most buzzed-about events of the summer, so don’t miss out.
