A beloved waterfront festival will be returning to Toronto this weekend!
Wavelength Summer Thing is once again taking over Trillium Park with its SummerSeries this Sunday, August 16 – this year with twice as many stages.

The open-air festival will feature music ranging from guitar-rock anthems to Afro-Brazilian percussion and so much more. Home to some of Canada’s most innovative artists, immersive art installations, and a bustling indie maker market, Wavelength Summer Thing is a cultural celebration. And best of all, you can experience it entirely for free.
The festival will be largely focused around two main outdoor stages (each with its own unique backdrop) that will take you all over the musical map. The Main Stage mainly features expansive sounds, with everything from alternative R&B and indie-soul to a performance by Toronto rap artist Shad, while the Lake Stage provides a more intimate setting right by the water for unconventional acoustic ballads and folk tunes.

Plus, don’t miss the interactive art installations scattered throughout the greenery that will transform your understanding of local contemporary art. You’ll discover hand-made wares from local independent vendors at the Indie Market, and when you get hungry, grab a bite from the onsite food trucks. To round out the festival, you can unwind with some tunes by a community campfire as the sun sets over the Toronto skyline.
