This edition celebrates the Caribbean, bringing together DJs, Junkanoo performers in handcrafted costumes, and dancing beneath towering dinosaur skeletons for one of the season’s most colourful themed events.
Dubbed Island Fête, the evening features a lineup that celebrates Caribbean music and culture. DJ 4KORNERS brings his signature blend of house, dancehall, soca, and Afrobeats, while Duane Forrest delivers an acoustic reggae performance inspired by his acclaimed one-man Bob Marley Fringe show.
The night also features a vibrant performance by the Bahamas Junkanoo Legends in elaborate handcrafted costumes adorned with feathers and sequins, alongside a live steelpan set from Suzette Vidale, whose musical roots span St. Lucia, Barbados, and Trinidad. Together, the performances create an immersive cultural celebration that feels as authentic as it is unforgettable.
Museum Meets Nightlife
Part of what makes ROM After Dark so memorable is the setting itself. Guests can dance beneath towering dinosaur skeletons, grab bites from local favourites like Sisters with Spice and Lulu’s Gelato in the Dinosaur Gallery, get a custom caricature, or unwind in the craft lounge between sets.
Your ticket also includes access to the BEES exhibition and most of the museum’s current galleries, making it easy to explore the museum before the party comes to life.
Tickets are available online only, with no door sales, and all guests must present valid government-issued photo ID proving they are 19 or older. If you’re planning to go, it’s worth booking early and bringing friends who are ready to hit the dance floor.
