An outdoor music festival is taking over one of Toronto’s coolest strips this weekend, transforming over a kilometre of Geary Avenue into a huge community street party.
Sound on Geary is returning on September 19, inviting music lovers, foodies, and locals to experience a full day built around the diverse sounds, distinct spaces, and creative energy that define the neighbourhood.

From pop and hip-hop to punk, indie rock, and experimental beats, attendees will get to explore eight individual stages scattered along the strip, each programmed by the local bars, breweries, studios, and nightlife hotspots that make Geary so unique.
Whether you’re eager to catch live street artists creating in real time or ready to cheer on local talent at the iconic Blood Brothers Battle of the Bands, this music-forward event is packed with excitement from end to end. Alongside the non-stop performances, you can sample delicious bites from Geary’s favourite dining spots, sip on craft beer and wine, or simply soak in the lively atmosphere.
The festival is also completely free to attend, making it an accessible way to celebrate the final stretch of summer.
Sound on Geary will stretch roughly 1.2 kilometres along Geary Avenue from Ossington to Primrose on Saturday, September 19, running from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m.
