A brand new entertainment and getaway destination is officially under construction just outside of Toronto, and it’s bringing a sprawling mix of gaming, dining, and luxury hotel stays to Simcoe County.
Cascades Casino and Hotel Innisfil is rising along Highway 400 at 239 Reive Blvd., completely transforming the former Innisfil Creek Golf Course into a sprawling 25-acre resort complex.
Designed to replace the current Gateway Casinos location at Georgian Downs, the new 150,000-square-foot resort will feature an expanded casino floor packed with over 1,000 slot machines and live table games, alongside a shiny new seven-storey hotel.
Beyond the gaming floor, visitors will be able to check out a variety of new culinary options, including Chow Lucky Noodle Bar, MATCH Eatery & Public House, and Atlas Steak + Fish. The resort’s vibrant architectural design and lit-up exterior promise to make it a standout stop for anyone heading up north.
Construction is currently full steam ahead on the new complex, with the resort expected to officially open its doors as early as summer 2027.
