The Holiday Sip & Shop Night Market takes over St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market at 878 Weber Street North in Woolwich on Fridays, November 20 and 27, from 5 to 10 p.m.
All three market buildings will be open, with the entire property licensed for the evening, allowing visitors to sip alcoholic drinks while shopping to the sounds of festive holiday music.
Shopping is the main attraction, with over 100 handpicked artisans and makers joining the market’s regular vendors. Visitors can browse unique finds and check off their holiday gift lists without going to a mall.
Located just over an hour’s drive from Toronto, the market is an easy festive getaway, though Friday evening traffic could add to the journey. Tickets cost $8 plus taxes and fees, while children 10 and under enter free.
Visitors can make a full evening of it with St. Jacobs Sparkles, running November 12–15 and 19–22. The free village-wide celebration features extended shopping hours, twinkling lights, Victorian-costumed carolers, and horse-drawn wagon rides.
November 20 coincides with Sparkles, giving visitors a chance to experience both events, while the November 27 market offers another opportunity for festive evening shopping. Theatre lovers can also catch Snow White and the Seven Tenors: A Panto at the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse, running November 19 through January 10, 2027.
