The city’s premier downtown shopping mall will soon transform into a twinkling winter wonderland, with the return of one of the season’s most anticipated holiday traditions.
The Toronto Eaton Centre has revealed its festive programming for the 2026 season, kicking off with the grand illumination of Canada’s tallest indoor Christmas tree.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary inside the bustling multi-level shopping destination, the towering 114-foot centrepiece will officially light up during a special unveiling ceremony on Thursday, November 12 at 6 p.m., inviting visitors to gather in the heart of the city to watch the shopping centre illuminate for the holidays.
The event includes an epic crowd countdown to the grand reveal, where the towering centerpiece will light up the multi-level mall in brilliant fashion. Guests will also be treated to live festive musical performances, a special guest appearance by Santa Claus, and an enchanting inaugural light show accompanied by swirling indoor snowfall.
If you can’t make it to opening night, the holiday magic doesn’t stop there. The Eaton Centre will host daily light and indoor snow shows every single hour on the hour throughout the season. Visitors will also get to try out the brand-new interactive CF Tree Designer feature, giving you the chance to take control of the display and customize the tree with your own vibrant colours and festive patterns.
