After more than two decades in Stouffville, the family relocated Applewood Farm Winery a few years ago to a larger property just north of Port Perry. While the location has changed, the family-run experience has remained the same.
Strawberries kick off the pick-your-own season in early summer. Followed by a brief mulberry season when the trees are loaded with sweet, juicy fruit. Every visit begins with a basket at the entrance, then it’s up to you to wander the rows.
The farm’s on-site winery produces award-winning fruit wines, cider, and mead made with fruit and honey grown on the farm and sourced from other local farms. Visitors can enjoy tastings before browsing preserves, honey, and other farm products to take home.

- Mulberry picking: $15 per person, including one quart of pick-your-own mulberries. Every visitor entering the farm must take a basket.
