A beloved party on wheels is about to roll back into Toronto this weekend, featuring an unforgettable evening of music, lights, and spontaneous fun.
Since 2017, Bike Party Toronto has been a favourite summer event and fixture on countless “best of Toronto” lists.

The travelling social ride, decorated with hundreds of glowing lights and blinkies, cruises through the city each June and July. Welcoming riders of all ages and experience levels, the group will once again transform the city streets, parks, and unexpected urban corners into a rolling, interactive celebration.
The event always features a mystery route with built-in pit stops and impromptu dance parties along the way. To fully immerse yourself in the experience, participants are encouraged to download an official synchronized playlist, shared ahead of time on the event’s social channels. At the start of the ride, everyone hits play simultaneously, creating a moving soundtrack that drifts in and out of sync as the group pedals together through the night.
The event is also completely free to join, but while you won’t pay a penny for a ticket, its mission is to keep the community-led movement going strong. Guests are encouraged to leave a donation through their website to help keep the initiative sustainable – a small contribution to unlock additional perks and surprises later in the season.
This year’s June meetup begins on Saturday, June 20 at 7:30 p.m., with the exact starting location set to be shared directly via the Bike Party Toronto mailing list just ahead of time. Organizers recommend arriving early to get your bike decked out in your brightest gear, prep your speakers, and connect with fellow riders before setting off.
Besides your favorite set of wheels, participants are encouraged to come prepared with essentials like water, snacks, a spare inner tube, and a bike-friendly costume.
