Canada has once again captured the hearts of travellers worldwide, earning a spot among the top 10 countries in the world according to Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards.
The mass media company’s annual awards, now in their 38th year, received over 757,000 votes from independent readers who shared their favourite travel destinations, cities, resorts, and countries. Out of 20 countries, Canada ranked 10th overall, earning an impressive score of 90.94.
Comparatively, Japan in first place scored 95.36 points, with South Africa in 20th obtaining 85.08 points. Canada placed just behind France (9th) and ahead of destinations like Switzerland, Mexico, and Germany.
