A sea of golden blooms is currently brightening up the countryside just north of Toronto, and it’s the perfect destination for an end-of-summer roadtrip!
Located just a 30 minute drive from the GTA, the Davis Family Farm Sunflower Festival in Caledon has been a cherished summer ritual for over a decade now. Running from July 25 through August 9, 2026, you have just a few days left to wander through their iconic “Field of Dreams”.

Spanning an impressive 3-kilometre walking trail, you can wander through endless rows of towering sunflowers stretching as far as the eye can see. Scattered throughout the golden path, you’ll discover whimsical photo ops nestled right among the blooms, including vintage cars, rustic pianos, and field swings.
Besides the self-guided trail, the festival also offers a lineup of special golden-hour experiences. Visitors can take part in sunset paint nights in the fields, join morning yoga sessions, or drop by the exclusive Sunflower Soiree.
Afterwards, guests can pick up fresh, local goodies made directly from the harvest, including raw sunflower honey, cold-pressed sunflower oil, and farm-fresh eggs.

The festival runs daily from July 25 through August 9, 2026, with entry hours between 8 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. While entry is free for little ones under six, general admission tickets for adults are $13.50, and children aged 6 to 12 can enter for $5. Because time slots are capped to ensure everyone gets a tranquil stroll through the fields, guests are required to book their tickets online in advance.
The Davis Family Farm is located at 15770 Mountainview Rd. in Caledon East, just a quick 45-minute drive from downtown Toronto. You can reserve your time slot and grab full festival details directly on the Davis Family Farm’s website.
