If you have yet to learn the choreography to the unofficial anthem of Halloween, you’ll want to head to Toronto’s Distillery District this weekend!
Free community dance lessons are taking over the neighbourhood’s cobblestone streets on Halloween day, offering a day-long celebration packed with festive music, family-friendly fun, and the iconic moves of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”
Gather a crew of friends or bring the entire family out to learn the routine step-by-step from local instructors. The day is split into two dedicated sessions to suit all skill levels: little ghouls and kids can hit the dance floor from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., while adults can dust off their jacket and join the evening groove from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Best of all, the entire event is completely free to attend, and no prior registration or tickets are required. Costumes are encouraged!
The Thriller dance lessons will take place at The Distillery District on Saturday, October 31, kicking off in the afternoon and running through the evening.
