As it turns out, you don’t have to hop on a plane to Mexico to see a dramatic showdown between luchadores; just head down to The Well this weekend!
For the second year in a row, the popular outdoor shopping mall will be taken over by an actual wrestling ring for its annual Lucha Libre event. If you missed out on the action last year, now is your chance to witness the acrobatic thrills and dramatic flair of authentic Mexican wrestling right in the heart of the downtown core.

On Saturday, May 2, guests will be treated to a sensory feast of sights, sounds, and most importantly, tacos. The main event features professional lucha libre wrestling matches that will see masked luchadores taking to the air in a series of choreographed stunts, acrobatic moves, and epic takedowns.
Between the matches in the ring, a live Mariachi Band will keep the energy high with traditional performances scheduled throughout the afternoon. Keep the party going at the Altos Margarita Lounge, which will be serving up refreshing cocktails.
Of course, no celebration of Mexican culture is complete without the food, and local favourite Gus Tacos will be popping up on-site to serve their famous authentic street tacos.
