Looking for the perfect summer day trip from Toronto? Splashtown Niagara might just be your new favourite escape this season!
Located just under two hours away in the small beach town of Port Colborne, this giant inflatable waterpark sits right on Lake Erie at Nickel Beach, and is a one-of-a-kind destination for families, couples, and groups of friends looking to cool off this season.
The floating obstacle course is complete with slides, monkey bars, trampolines, and climbing walls, as well as a catapult launch “blob” that sends swimmers soaring into the sky before they land in the water.
Safety is a top priority, so the entire experience is monitored by certified lifeguards. Guests aged five and up are welcome to join the fun, with mandatory life jackets provided and required for all participants. Kids between five and eight years old must be accompanied by an adult on the inflatables.
After you burn some energy on the floating playground, soak up some sun at Nickel Beach, which is one of Ontario’s lesser-known gems with beautiful sandy shores, shallow waters, and a relaxed vibe. Keep in mind that admission to the beach isn’t included in your Splashtown ticket, and must be purchase separately from the City of Port Colborne.
Splashtown officially opened for the summer on June 28, 2025, and is now open daily until the end of August.
Tickets start at $27.99 for a two-hour time slot, or you can opt for a full-day splash pass from 10 – 6 p.m. starting at $34.99. If your party is larger than 5 people, you can get a discounted rate from $25 and up.
All you need to bring with you is your swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen!
