One of the world’s most instantly recognizable restaurants is coming back to Toronto this year, marking yet another chain opening to look forwards to in 2024.
The Hard Rock Cafe, known for its establishments decorated in music memorabilia, collective fashion, and other music-related merchandise, will return to Toronto in the second half of 2024.
The original cafe had operated just southeast of Yonge and Dundas Square for nearly 40 years, but closed back in 2017 when its lease ended.
Over the nearly-four decades it was open, the beloved institution hosted hundreds of live music performances in the lively space.
A sign recently appeared within the square, indicating the Hard Rock Cafe is making its comeback, simply stating it’s “coming soon”.
Not many more details have been released yet as to where exactly it will reopen, but their headquarters have confirmed it is expected for the second half of 2024.
The Hard Rock brand is also opening several hotels in Ontario, anticipated to open in London and Ottawa in 2024 and 2025.
In the meantime, you can still get your Hard Rock Cafe fix at its only other Canadian location that’s currently open in Niagara Falls.
