Toronto’s historic landmark, Casa Loma, is soon to be blanketed in holiday cheer as it unveils its annual, highly anticipated seasonal transformation.
The iconic castle will once again transform into a real-life Christmas storybook this December with the return of two distinct, immersive events: “Christmas at the Castle” and the “Holiday Lights Tour,” which promises to be an unforgettable festive experience for all ages.

With cheerful decor and twinkling lights covering the majestic property both inside and out, this is one magical destination you’ll defintiely want to add to your holiday plans.
The enchanting daytime event, Christmas at the Castle, invites visitors indoors to explore the holiday splendor gracing the castle’s interior. Guests can take in the beauty of the stunning holiday decorations, including the majestic 20-foot Christmas tree standing proud in the Great Hall.

As they wander through the rooms, they can admire eight signature “Destination ‘design’ trees” created by renowned Canadian designers, featuring special creations in the Great Hall by Living Luxe Magazine and Amber Walker. The experience is enhanced by continuous live performances throughout the day, featuring semi-finalists from Canada’s Got Talent 2025, the Jambo Brothers, alongside Knight Before Christmas shows, holiday vocals by Sara Papini and others, a Great Hall aerialist, mimes, mascots, and an interactive magician.
Furthermore, younger guests will have the chance to meet Santa and his elves and drop their letters into a special mailbox bound for the North Pole. This experience runs from December 5, 2025, to January 3, 2026, daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

After the sun sets, there’s even more magic to explore with the Holiday Lights Tour, transforming the exterior grounds into a sparkling winter wonderland. This self-guided, illuminated walk takes guests through spectacular holiday decorations, intricate light installations, and engaging outdoor performances.
The tour features a mesmerizing walk spanning approximately 2km, leading guests through the decorated gardens and historic tunnels. Attendees can look forward to seeing a captivating magic show, a dynamic fire performer, beloved characters like Olaf and the Winter Princesses, a trio of traditional Christmas carolers, and, of course, a visit from Santa and his entourage.

Keep in mind that the Holiday Lights experience is primarily outdoors and in the tunnels, and does not include access to tour the interior of Casa Loma. This evening event begins on December 6, 2025, and runs until January 3, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays through Sundays.
Tickets start at $45 online ($50 onsite) for visits between December 6 and December 19, 2025, with prices increasing by $5 starting on December 18 through January 3, 2026.
