Dog moms and dads, there’s soon going to be a brand new space in the city for you to mix and mingle, work, grab a bite or drink, and so much more – all with your pup!
Hound House is coming to Toronto’s Queen West neighbourhood this fall, and will be the city’s first “Canine Social Collective”.
According to their website, Hound House will be “an indoor dog park, co-working space, café & bar, shop, and social club for both pups and their people, where the joy of canine companionship meets the comfort of luxury.”
The indoor dog park will have an off-leash play area, complete with anti-slip flooring and small obstacles for your dogs to explore. You can let your pup roam and play safely while you work or socialize, and due to its indoor nature, will be open year-round.
For those with the flexibility to work outside of the office, Hound House will have a co-working space equipped with everything you need, with a variety of seating areas and private soundproof phone booths if you need to make a noise free call or attend a meeting.
When you get hungry, the onsite café will have delicious drinks and treats both for you and your pup. Food, coffee, tea, seasonal drinks, and a rotating selection of beer and wine will all be offered, making Hound House a one-stop shop for everything you need for a productive day under one roof.
If you prefer to work without distractions, you can also book your dog for daycare services for the half day or full day.
Scheduled to open in September 2024, Hound House will allow for drop ins, as well as offer memberships which can be purchased on a monthly basis.
With the membership, you’ll have access to all the club’s amenities for the month, along with member-only events and a discount on daycare.
Sounds like it will be the perfect place for dog lovers to work, connect, and paw-ty!
