Starting Saturday, August 1, Jackpot City Casino’s wildly popular free cab campaign is officially returning to Toronto’s streets for a third straight summer. This epic giveaway is offering complimentary rides anywhere in the city, along with the chance to win some cold, hard cash.
Over its first two summers, the campaign has earned a huge local following, giving away over 5,600 free rides and shelling out $43,000 in prize money to unsuspecting Torontonians.
As of this weekend, seven eye-catching purple-wrapped Co-op Cabs outfitted with digital taxi tops and clearly marked “Free Taxi” will once again cruise the city’s streets. If you manage to hail one, you can hop in for a ride anywhere in Toronto without spending a dime.
Along with the zero-dollar fare, the campaign’s escalating weekly cash prizes are back for 2026. Each week, one exceptionally lucky rider will step out of their cab with a surprise lump sum – and the stakes are climbing higher with every passing week.
Here’s the weekly cash prizes you could win:
- Week 1: $3,000
- Week 2: $5,000
- Week 3: $12,000
- Week 4 (Grand Finale): A whopping $30,000
