The Civic Holiday long weekend is coming up, and while it’s not a stat holiday, you can still celebrate with a dazzling fireworks show near Toronto!
Canada’s Wonderland will once again be hosting its legendary fireworks series on Sunday, August 2.
Spend your day tackling the park’s 200 attractions before settling in for a grand finale. And the best part? The entire spectacle is included with your standard park entry.
Wonderland regulars will want to take note of a major update for this season: the fireworks now kick off at an earlier start time of 9:45 p.m. on each show night (weather permitting).
When the display begins, the sky above the iconic Wonder Mountain will ignite with more than 6,000 colorful fireworks bursts soaring over 800 feet in the air. The entire show is custom-designed and perfectly choreographed to an original soundtrack. Plus, don’t miss the new fire divers plunging off Wonder Mountain and lively street performers adding extra buzz to the park throughout the celebration.
For those that want to keep the fun going after the grand finale, select park areas will remain open late so guests can extend their nighttime enjoyment. Planet Snoopy rides will keep running until 10 p.m., while Medieval Faire, home to the epic Leviathan roller coaster, will stay open until 11 p.m.
If you miss the August 2 show, don’t worry – you’ll have one final opportunity to see them on September 6.
You can find Canada’s Wonderland at 1 Canada’s Wonderland Drive, Vaughan.
