Toronto, it’s time to let your childlike wonder run free!
This June, parts of downtown Toronto will be full of massive, magical bubbles as part of the Luminato Festival.
Back for its 17th year, Luminato celebrates the city’s energy through memorable art experiences, and has since it was founded in 2007. This year, the event is happening from June 5 through 16th.
Created by Australian design firm Atelier Sisu, the immersive art bubble installation Evanescent aims to appeal to our universal playfulness and encourage viewers to live fully in the moment.
You’ll be able to walk through the “bubble-tecture” and snap your social media content with them during the festival at the David Pecaut Square and Arnell Plaza at the Bay Adelaide Centre.
Once the festival is over, you’ll still be able to see the installation at the Arnell Plaza at Bay Adelaide Centre, Brookfield Place and First Canadian Place from June 18 until July 30.
Evanescent is just one of many incredible things to see and do at this year’s Luminato Festival. With over 3,600 performances featuring 15,000 artists from over 40 countries, you can expect everything from workshops to dance performances and live music.
