A number of lucky Machine Gun Kelly fans in Toronto who watched the American artist’s Instagram stories today are about to be treated to an unforgettable surprise, after he announced a free, last-minute concert taking place later tonight in the city.
MGK took to his socials earlier, posting a photo of a private jet with the text reading “Toronto bout to get some Lost Americana vibes today” – Lost Americana being the name of his seventh studio album which is set to be released this weekend on August 8, 2025.
He followed up with a selfie tagging his location in Toronto with a “hush” emoji, and then confirmed the surprise show on his Stories with a flyer noting the free pop-up performance would take place at Toronto’s legendary Horseshoe Tavern and be first-come, first served.
The show is limited to just 300 lucky attendees, kicking off at 8 p.m. this evening, August 6. While the event only gave fans a few hours’ notice, a lineup was reported to have formed almost immediately outside the Queen Street West venue.
If you aren’t able to see MGK in Toronto tonight, at least you can look forwards to new music this weekend!
