New Year’s Eve is just days away, and if you don’t have plans yet, how about trying one of Toronto’s many incredible restaurants to ring in the new year?
While many spots are already booked up, there are still a variety of options with both prix fixe and a la carte menus that you can snag a last minute reservation to, or keep tabs on for cancellations.
Check out these 10 restaurants that still have availability for New Year’s Eve dinner in Toronto:
1. Oretta King West
This Italian-inspired King West restaurant still has plenty of availability listed on OpenTable for a NYE feast, along with a late night experience beginning at 11 p.m. including small bites and a beverage. At midnight, celebrate with a Prosecco toast! The Late Night ticket costs $65 per person and is prepaid.
2. DASHA
There’s still a few tables left for NYE at DASHA, which will be offering a dinner of pan-Asian cuisine starting at 6 p.m. At 10 p.m., the party kicks off with DJ’s and entertainment in both the main space and speakeasy rooms.
3. R&D Restaurant
You won’t leave hungry after this exquisite five-course meal of modern Canadian-Asian fare at R&D Restaurant on Spadina. The set menu costs $130 per person, and includes items like A5 Wagyu Tartare, duck breast, and lobster bisque. There are still plenty of tables showing on OpenTable at the time of publishing.
4. Restaurant Pompette
If it’s contemporary French cuisine that you’re craving, consider booking Restaurant Pompette’s seven-course NYE menu to ring in 2024. There will only be one seating for the entire evening, so guests are welcome to stay for the night and enjoy the live DJ. The experience costs $195 per ticket and can be booked via Resy.
5. Don Alfonso 1890
Awarded a Michelin Star in the inaugural Michelin Guide – Toronto 2022, Don Alfonso 1890 is certainly an experience to remember (and so is the price tag for their New Year’s Eve offering). There are two experiences still available for booking; an earlier seating for a four-course Italian tasting menu at $350 per person, or a later seating for an eight-course tasting menu at $500 per person, where guests can toast to the new year while watching the fireworks show across the city.
6. Pink Sky
Seafood-lovers might be interested in trying Pink Sky’s NYE experience, called “An Affair To Remember”. The four-course tasting menu costs $125 per person, but lets guests pick and choose their options for each course. A live DJ will also provide entertainment from 8 p.m. and on, and you can book your spot on OpenTable.
7. Piano Piano
This beloved Italian-inspired restaurant has several locations still with NYE availability, with a four-course offering of their most popular dishes for $99 per person. Guests can pick and choose their courses from a variety of items, which include an appetizer, shared pasta, main course, and dessert. Book your table via Resy.
8. Minami Restaurant
There are still a few spots left at one of Toronto’s hottest Japanese restaurants for NYE, which features an exclusive tasting menu, complimentary glass of bubbles, and jazz trio as entertainment for $150 per person, with an optional $40 additional beverage pairing. Book your spot via OpenTable.
9. Margo
This multi-level, opulent restaurant will be serving up a Mediterranean-inspired dinner for NYE , with an a la carte menu from 5 – 7 p.m. and a prix fixe menu after 8 p.m. for $160 per person. Guests will also be able to access all levels of the CLIO Gala, which will have live entertainment on each floor. Black-tie or masquerade attire is encouraged.
10. Black + Blue
Dress up and indulge in your favourite cut of steak at Black + Blue Toronto’s NYE Gala Dinner. A limited a la carte menu is available from 4 – 7 p.m., but after 8 p.m. the masquerade-themed dinner begins. Guests are encourage to bring their own mask or can purchase one upon arrival. The event is priced at $195 per person and can be booked on Seven Rooms.
