A breathtaking view of North America’s wildest rapids just got even closer thanks to a brand-new addition at Niagara Falls.
For those who have yet to experience the White Water Walk, this is the perfect reason to plan a road trip! For 20 years, the attraction has offered visitors a front-row seat to the raw power of the Niagara River’s Class 6 rapids. Here, you can watch millions of gallons of churning turquoise water surge through the Niagara Gorge right before your eyes.
The experience begins with an elevator ride descending 70 metres straight down into the gorge, leading to a scenic wooden boardwalk that stretches along the edge of the roaring river. Now, the park has revealed a newly launched viewing platform that extends out further over the rushing water, giving guests an unmatched, up-close look at the white-water waves.
The sheer intensity of the river is jaw-dropping, where standing waves reach heights of up to 3 to 5 metres. The self-guided attraction allows visitors to stroll along the quarter-mile boardwalk at their own pace, soaking in 410-million-year-old rock formations and taking in the incredible sight from multiple viewing decks.

While the experience is one of the area’s most popular seasonal draws, ticket prices remain budget-friendly at $21 for adults and $13.50 for children. Guests are encouraged to take their time exploring the informational displays along the pathway. The site stays open daily throughout the season until November 2, 2026.
