
Summer is officially heating up in Toronto, and along with a packed calendar of events, festivals, and activities happening throughout June, residents can soon cool off as the city’s outdoor public swimming pools begin to reopen.
While Toronto’s supervised beaches have already opened for the season as of May 31, pool lovers will have to wait just a little longer to dive in.
Here’s Toronto’s outdoor pool reopening schedule for 2025:
- June 14, 2025: Select outdoor pools will open with limited hours, operating Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends.
- June 21, 2025: All remaining outdoor pools will open on a partial schedule.
- June 27 to August 31, 2025: All 64 of Toronto’s outdoor pools will operate on a full summer schedule, open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The following 15 pools will open early on June 14 and stay open later than others, closing on September 21, 2025:

- Alexandra Park
- Broadlands Community Recreation Centre
- Donald D. Summerville Olympic Pools
- Gord and Irene Risk Community Recreation Centre
- Goulding Community Recreation Centre
- Heron Park Community Centre
- Maryvale Park
- McGregor Park Community Centre
- O’Connor Community Centre
- Pine Point Park Outdoor Pool
- Riverdale Park East
- Roding Community Centre
- Sunnyside Gus Ryder Outdoor Pool
- West Mall Outdoor Pool
