Pacific Mall Summer Carnival: Volume 1 – Family Premiere takes place June 5 to 7, 2026, from noon to 10 p.m. daily. Home to more than 450 stores and vendors, Pacific Mall has become one of the GTA’s most recognizable shopping destinations. Located on the Toronto–Markham border, the sprawling retail complex draws visitors from across the region year-round.
For one weekend, however, the focus shifts beyond shopping as the sprawling complex transforms into a vibrant cultural festival. Live entertainment, beer gardens, interactive game zones, colourful photo installations, and family-friendly attractions come together to create one of the GTA’s most energetic celebrations of food, culture, and community.
It’s a rare chance to experience the scale, diversity, and community spirit that have made this destination a landmark for generations.
The setting is already one of the GTA’s most unique destinations. Pacific Mall is home to more than 450 independent vendors spread across 270,000 square feet and three levels. Throughout the festival grounds, food and beverage vendors add another layer to the weekend celebration.
For one weekend, the mall expands beyond shopping. Live performances, cultural showcases, family activities, parades, and festival attractions transform the property into a large-scale community celebration. Combined with the mall’s renowned food scene, it’s the kind of event where a brief visit can easily turn into an entire day.
The entertainment lineup is designed to keep the energy high throughout the weekend. Indoor and outdoor stages host live performances simultaneously, creating a festival atmosphere that extends across the entire grounds. Traditional lion dances bring a mix of culture, artistry, and athleticism, while open mic sessions give local performers a chance to take the spotlight.

Throughout the day, parades weave through the festival as visitors explore food vendors, activity zones, and live entertainment. The result is a lively, fast-paced atmosphere where something is always happening, whether you’re watching a performance, discovering a new dish, or simply taking in the excitement around you.
Culture & Community
Food sits at the centre of the experience. Dedicated festival zones showcase a variety of flavours and street food, filling the grounds with the aromas that have long made Pacific Mall a culinary destination. For adults, the beer and wine garden offers a place to relax, enjoy a drink, and take in the live entertainment throughout the day.
Across the festival grounds, themed photo installations and colourful summer garden displays provide popular spots for capturing memories, while interactive game zones keep younger visitors entertained. Merchandise vendors and community exhibitors add another layer to the experience, creating an atmosphere that feels part festival, part marketplace.
What makes the event especially unique is that Pacific Mall’s more than 450 stores remain open throughout the weekend. Visitors can browse shops, sample food, watch performances, and explore the festival all in a single visit. This makes it easy to turn a few hours into an entire day out.
The location is part of what makes the event work. Situated at Kennedy Road and Steeles Avenue on the Toronto–Markham border, Pacific Mall is easily accessible by both public transit and car. For decades, it has served as a gathering place for shoppers, food lovers, and families from across the GTA.
Running for three days with free admission, the event offers visitors the chance to experience Pacific Mall in an entirely different way. For one weekend, the focus shifts from shopping to celebration. The event turns one of the region’s busiest retail destinations into a lively public gathering space.
