It’s officially peach season in Ontario, meaning it’s also the perfect time to head to a nearby farm and pick your own while they’re ripe! With Niagara region being the peach capital of the province, getting your hands on the juicy stone fruits is less than a two hour drive away.
Whether you plan to bake them into a delectable cobbler, use in a summer salad or simply just eat fresh, we’ve rounded up five farms not too far from Toronto where you can pick your own peaches.
1. Great Lakes Farms
This seasonal family-owned farm found in Port Stanley is open from June through November, and offers both ready picked peaches as well as U-Pick on August 3, 4, 10 and 11 during their Peach Fest event. In addition to peaches, you can also visit for pick-your-own strawberries, apples, and pumpkins during the fall season. Be sure to stop by their Apple Barn café for some home-baked goodies. Great Lakes Farms has no entrance fee to visit the farm, though there is a minimum purchase requirement for pick-your-own.

2. Parkway Orchards
Parkway Orchards located in Niagara-on-the-Lake is welcoming visitors for pick-your-own nectarines and peaches, with an entrance fee or $5 and peaches priced at $4/lb. The farm may close at any time due to inventory, so be sure to check ahead before planning your visit!

3. Pardo’s Berrie Farm
Perched along the shores of Lake Erie in the hamlet of Pardoville, Pardo’s Berrie Farm is a family operated pick-your-own, wholesale, and retail farm. They currently have pick your own blueberries, peaches, and green and yellow beans available right now, though availability is weather dependent so give them a call before venturing out! They also ask that you kindly bring your own boxes to take your peaches home with you in.

4. Smith Two Century Farms
Owned and operated by the Smith family, Smith Two Century Farms has been around since 1787. Offering pick-your-own in cherry and peach seasons, the farm has yet to announce when peaches will be ready for picking this summer, though it will likely be around mid to late August. Peaches are priced per basket size.

5. Cherry Avenue Farms
No reservations are required at this Vineland pick-your-own farm, though they are still waiting for peaches to ripen for the 2024 season before welcoming the public for picking. Baskets must be prepaid per entrant and start at $8 for the smallest 2L size.
