This year, Pumpkins After Dark takes visitors on a journey around the world. There will be displays organized by continent, each section featuring its own distinct theme, characters, and artistic style. The result feels more immersive than a traditional pumpkin trail, with every area offering something new to discover.
Along the route, classic Halloween icons share the spotlight with dinosaurs, dragons, and recognizable pop culture-inspired creations. Visitors can also keep an eye out for the hidden Pumpkinhead Ed tucked somewhere along the trail. Dracula’s Haunted Castle adds a maze-like experience for those looking for a few extra thrills beyond the event’s family-friendly atmosphere.
What sets the tone is how intentionally family-friendly the experience remains. While costumed actors and spooky displays are part of the experience, organizers have deliberately avoided jump scares, blood, and gore, making it suitable for everyone from toddlers to grandparents.
Event Essentials
Throughout the evening, visitors can enjoy live entertainment, pumpkin-carving demonstrations, festive treats, and plenty of photo opportunities. The self-guided format also allows guests to explore at their own pace, with most people spending one to two hours taking in the full trail.

If you’re planning to visit, booking in advance is highly recommended. Entry is timed, with limited tickets available for each time slot, and guests are asked to arrive no more than 15 minutes before their scheduled entry. Free parking is included, and the event runs rain or shine from late September through Halloween.
For evening visits, especially later in the season, a light jacket is a good idea as temperatures can cool quickly after sunset. Visitors should also keep in mind that the trail follows a one-way route, with no re-entry once you’ve begun the experience.
