Less than two months after announcing their global pop reunion tour, it seems like this iconic girl group has hit a sour note.
Following months of anticipation and multiple delays, the Pussycat Dolls just announced this afternoon that they have cancelled their highly anticipated North American comeback tour, including their scheduled stop at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.
The tour was originally intended to celebrate the group’s massive legacy, marking their first time hitting the road together in over a decade. Sadly, the reunion has been permanently shelved following a series of logistical hurdles and public disagreements.
Based on their latest social media post, the group writes, “After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates.”
As for now, it appears the U.K. and European dates are still moving forward as planned.
What This Means For Ticket Holders
For those who have been holding onto their tickets since the tour was first announced, ticketholders are expected to receive automatic refunds through their original point of purchase.
