The king of comfort food is officially bringing his most nostalgic hits to the city, and you’ll want to act fast before it’s gone.
For years, foodies have been making the journey to Crystal Beach to visit Rizzo’s House of Parm, the beloved Italian-American joint from celebrity chef Matty Matheson. Named after his eldest daughter, the restaurant has become a legendary spot known for its massive portions, parms and pasta plates.

Pretty soon though, you won’t have to plan a road trip to get a taste! From May 7 to 31, Rizzo’s is “packing up the parm” and heading to Toronto for a strictly limited, one-month-only pop-up.
Operating out of 802 Dundas St. W. (the former home of Bar Clams), this takeover is focusing on a curated, takeout-only experience dubbed “Rizzo Takes Toronto.” Designed to feed two people (or one person with very ambitious leftovers), the set menu includes a choice of two parms (chicken or eggplant) and a choice of classic pasta like penne alla vodka or spaghetti pomodoro.

The feast doesn’t stop there. Each order comes packed with Rizzo’s signature meatballs, a crisp Caesar salad, and their famous coffee-and-rum-soaked tiramisu to round out the meal.
While the full Crystal Beach menu features everything from mozzarella sticks to gnocchi, this pop-up is all about the heavy hitters that put the restaurant on the map, brought to you by the same team behind local favourites like Prime Seafood Palace and Matty’s Pattys.
The Details
Pre-orders are already live, and given the hype surrounding anything Matheson touches, you’ll want to move fast. Deliveries and pickups will be available Wednesday through Sunday starting at 5 p.m. until they sell out for the night.
You can secure your spot for a parm party via Uber Eats or through the link on their official Instagram.
