Beloved American burger joint Shake Shack is gearing up to open its first Canadian location, and it sounds like the restaurant will have some specialty menu items exclusive to Toronto.
After posting job listings back in January, it’s finally been confirmed that Shake Shack will open early this summer at the northeast corner of Yonge and Dundas.
Spanning 5,500 square feet, Shake Shack will be located at 10 Dundas East.
Fans can of course expect the classics they are known for, including smash burgers, chili cheese fries, and frozen custard.
However, it will also be offering some uniquely Canadian-inspired menu items.
According to Shake Shack Canada’s business director Billy Richmond, the restaurant will offer “Canadian exclusives that we’ve developed with our local culinary partners to be enjoyed amongst Toronto’s dynamic cityscape.”
The first of exclusives that have been unveiled include a Maple Salted Pretzel Shake, blending “classic vanilla frozen custard with the distinct taste of Canadian maple syrup, offering a tasty nod to Canada’s maple syrup tradition.”
Consider us drooling!
The new restaurant has yet to confirm their official opening date, but it sounds like it won’t be much longer.
