Toronto smashburger fans, rejoice! The highly-anticipated opening of Shake Shack’s Union Station location is just around the corner.
After much success at its first Canadian location at Yonge and Dundas Square earlier this year, the restaurant has announced it will officially open its doors at Union Station on December 4 at 11 a.m.
Taking up space in Canada’s busiest transit hub, Shake Shack at Union will be the perfect spot to grab a quick bite before a game, or while waiting for your train.
The Union Station location will stand out among Shake Shack’s global outposts, as it’s one of the select few to feature a full bar. Guests can sip on exclusive, custom-crafted cocktails designed to enhance their Shack dining experience, surrounded by local illustrator Pui Yan Fong’s vibrant artwork.
Highlights from the drink menu include:
- Shackarita: A margarita-inspired mix of tequila, fresh lime, and a hint of agave for a clean, classic flavor.
- The Station Smash: A refreshing blend of gin, blackberry, basil, cucumber, and lemon.
- Spiked Fifty/Fifty: A boozy twist on Shake Shack’s signature lemonade and iced tea mix, featuring vodka.
- Northbound Negroni: A smooth interpretation of the classic Negroni with gin, Campari, and Dolin Vermouth Rouge.
Of course, fans can also expect Shake Shack’s signature classics, from juicy smashburgers and crispy crinkle-cut fries to decadent frozen custards.
Adding to the holiday cheer, limited-edition Holiday Shakes will be available through January 6, 2025. Seasonal flavors include Chocolate Peppermint and Sugar Cookie, perfect for the festive season.
In the coming months, Shake Shack will also expand to Yorkdale Mall, though the official dates are still to be announced.
