Prepare your most fabulous ogre-ears and dust off your best swamp-ready attire because the official Shrek Rave is set to make an unforgettable return to Toronto.
If you missed out on the last one, the highly anticipated event put on by Cool Is Dead will be making its way across numerous American and Canadian cities this winter, making a stop in Toronto on January 30, 2026. The event will take over the legendary music venue Lee’s Palace.
Self-dubbed “the silliest rave on earth”, attendees can expect a night of live DJs spinning the hottest tracks from Smash Mouth classics to medieval party hits, guaranteeing that “the whole kingdom will get down”.
The entire venue will also be transformed into a “fairytale party paradise” with Shrek-themed visuals. The invitation is open to enjoy a potion or two, and guests are encouraged to dress up as your most cherished fairytale characters, be it Lord Farquaad or Princess Fiona.
“We’ve taken the traditional fairytale rave and flipped it like an onion inside out; this is where ogre energy meets rave culture, creating a whole new chapter in the storybook of party life,” reads the website.
Tickets to the 19+ event are now available for Tier 1 pricing, starting at $25 before taxes and fees.
Besides Toronto, you can follow the Shrek Rave tour to several other nearby cities. Additional Ontario dates include Kitchener at The Hub on January 23, 2026; Sudbury at HQ on January 30, 2026; Oshawa at the Biltmore Theatre on January 31, 2026; and Ottawa at The 27 Club on February 20, 2026.
