If you’ve been glued to your screens over the past few weeks watching contestants compete on Netflix’s ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’, now is your chance to see if you’ve got what it takes to win, as casting just opened for season two.
The game show and social experiment inspired by the ultra-popular South Korean dystopian television series just wrapped up their first season, featuring the largest cast in reality TV history.
Starting with 456 competitors, the challenges play out as players are eliminated, leaving the opportunity for one person to win $4.56 million USD.
Just like the original show, contestants are given green tracksuits and even played Red Light, Green Light, and the Dalgona cookie game. The games mirror childhood games, and are intentionally designed to test the player’s mental strength.
If you want to compete on the upcoming season, you can now apply directly online. To be considered, you must be above the age of 21, hold a valid passport, and be available to compete in the games for up to four weeks.
You’ll also have to upload a minute-long video introducing yourself, explain why you want to compete on the show, and what you would do with the money if you won.
With $4.56 million USD on the line, what would be your game plan to take the crown home?
