Canada’s favourite coffeehouse and bake shop is casting people for a new commercial – and you could make over $2000 for it!
Groundglass Casting is searching for Canadians coast to coast with a true meaningful, interesting, or heartfelt story involving Tim Hortons, as long as they’re 18 years old and up and can legally work in Canada.
The casting call reads, “Do you have a touching story that unfolded involving, or even inside a Tim Hortons? Are you part of a community or friendship that was formed or significantly deepened thanks to a shared love for Tims? Have you experienced or witnessed an act of kindness or a pivotal life moment over a cup of coffee or a box of Timbits?”
The commercial is a non-union project, and no acting experience is required.
However, those who apply should be outgoing and comfortable on camera, as well as taking direction.
Those interested must also be available between April 8 – 29 for callbacks, wardrobe appointments, and filming.
As for pay, anyone booked will receive $75 for their wardrobe appointment, and $750 for one day of filming.
If footage of you is used in the final commercial, you’ll also receive an additional $750 – $1500, or $1000 if your story is used in the campaign but you are not filmed.
For those who have to travel, you’ll receive $100 per diem and $350/travel or down day. Travel costs and accommodations will all be fully covered.
This could mean up to $2,325 if you’re chosen!
To apply, all you have to do is apply on the website here.
Hope to see you on the screen!
