With summer officially kicking off on June 20 and warm temperatures returning to the city, Toronto’s supervised swimming beaches are now open for the season.
As of May 31, 2025, lifeguards are on duty daily at ten city beaches, providing supervision during designated hours. Beachgoers can enjoy a dip in the lake from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., when both lifeguard services and daily maintenance are in effect at most locations.
Swimming is only recommended when lifeguards are present, and beachgoers are urged to stay within the designated supervised zones, marked by red and yellow flags for safety.
